FAQs

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • Do I need an Upgrade or a New Line?

A ‘new line’ is for a new customer looking to take a whole new number and a new contract, although it is possible to port a number from another network. An ‘upgrade’ is for a returning customer to a network that is looking to keep their number AND stay with the same network. It is very important that you select an upgrade so that you can keep your number if you are staying with your current network provider.

A network cannot port a number internally outside of the upgrades process, so if you take a new line, they won’t let you keep your number. We offer upgrade offers with O2, Vodafone and EE. We dont offer upgrades on any other network, but the option to move to another network and keep your number is still available to you.

Contact us here for further information.

  • What happens with my existing number?

A PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) allows you to keep your current number when you change network provider. All you need to do is text PAC to 65075. Please note that you are unable to use a PAC code when transferring within same network i.e. O2 to O2. To Keep your number when you are staying with the existing network provider, you will need to select an upgrade deal.

A STAC (service termination authorisation code) allows you to disconnect and cancel your current number when you change network provider. All you need to do is text STAC to 75075. You find out more from your current provider on their websites:

    Vodafone: click here

    Three: click here

    O2: click here

If your current network provider is not linked above, please contact them directly for more information on when you can request a PAC/STAC

  • When do I need a PAC Code?
